LJ Works is proud to be the new home of Planted, a family-run, vegetarian catering business! Planted joined LJ Works in May and have quickly since set up their kitchen in the space and have been busy cooking up a storm.
Back in 2016, Molly and Gabriella founded Planted as a pop up restaurant in Brighton. Motivated by a mission to encourage plant-based eating, their home kitchens transformed into hubs for trying out recipes.
Shortly after, Planted, started suppling coffee shops and restaurants around Brighton with cakes and pastries for over 2 years. They were also catering weddings around Sussex alongside helpers.
After 3 years of Planted, Molly moved the business to London. This helped them expand and fulfil the demand for plant-based catering in events, photoshoots and film shoots. Shortly after Molly's sister Liv, joined the team full time to open the first Planted Hut.
Excitingly, the space has allowed Planted to hire their first full-time member of staff, as of last month.
