About the event
Programme:
3pm: Drop-in Business Support: Seek expert advice and guidance for your entrepreneurial endeavours.
4pm: Drop-in Slime Workshop: Become a slime scientist with Slime Planet and unleash your creativity to make your very own colourful slime.
4.30pm: Windrush 75 Intergenerational Memory Event involving elders from Loughborough Junction Action Group's craft workshops and Marcus Lipton's pensioners' group sharing their memories with children and young people and their families from the Grove.
5pm: Carnival Workshop: Embrace the festive spirit with Sunshine Arts International’s carnival and mask making workshop.
Music from Groove School
Free Food and Drink from 5.45pm until it runs out! Enjoy jerk chicken, rice and peas and salads from Rowayn Brown and snacks from LJ Works’ very own Planted who will be offering veggie options.
6pm: Site tours (open studios 4-6.30pm for those who would rather explore the site at their own pace)
6.30pm: Speeches
7pm: Feel the rhythm with a drumming workshop from Tony B Happy Drums
